The Ravens continued to come in at -7. BetOnline took this one down to -6.5 for a 24 hour period Friday into Saturday despite some 93% of the action coming in on Baltimore.
Recreational books were holding at -7. A handful of books had made the dangerous move above -7.5.
Sagarin has a line of -7.
Jets should cover here behind Joe Flacco.
We also have the public winning with New Orleans -5.5.
82% of the bets were coming in on the Niners in their game against Chicago, though BetOnline was seeing 69% as of Thursday.
That one was on San Francisco -7 and had come down to -6.5 at some of the sharper books including BetOnline and Bookmaker. We know they have an opinion on this game that the Bears will cover +7 (still readily available most other books).
70% of the action was on the Texans 7-point spread at BetOnline though we are seeing just the opposite at other books (75% on the Colts at -7). This could explain why the number dropped hard on Tuesday from -9 to -7. We are on Houston +7.
75% of the action was on the Bucs at Dallas. The line has mostly moved from Tampa -2 to -2.5. We like Dallas +2.5 as Sagarin only has Tampa winning by a point in Dallas.
It's the same situation with Miami. We only have the Dolphins winning by 2 points. This makes New England +3.5 a nice play in our opinion. The action here tended to be more balanced.
67% of the action was on the Bengals and that hadn't changed overnight Saturday. Everyone had the number on Cincinnati -7, up from -6.5 at the recreational books Saturday morning.
