The incident occurred at a nine-handed final table on day 2 of the tournament just minutes into the final table starting when an individual took hold of the poker table and began to flip it over.
On Twitter, Munehiko Matsuyama tweeted that no further details about the incident would be released but claimed the individual in question was not part of the tournament.
Fortunately, the chip counts were quickly reconstructed from the stream recording and the final table ended without further incidents.
