Thunderstorms, a few of which may be severe, were likely to occur during game time Wednesday evening.  More scattered storms were anticipated earlier in the day.

More steady and severe storms were forecast from 6 pm through 2 am.  If this game does get off, the first hour appeared to be the only dry period.  Of course, thunderstorms can prove fickle, so stay tuned.

Jose Urquidy (2-1, 4.56) is expected to start for Houston.  He's only gone up against Twins batters 12 times, allowing a single hit.

He tossed six scoreless innings Thursday in a no-decision against the Tigers.  Urquidy had a victory prior to that game.

Chris Archer (3.26) 0-0 will take the mound for Minnesota, assuming this game gets off.

He's allowed 13 hits on 73 at bats versus Astros hitters.  There were 10 RBIs and two homers.

Archer struck out six batters over four innings Thursday in a no-decision against the Orioles.  He had a no-decision in his previous start as well.

Neither team or total has an edge in this series based on recent trends.
