The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has banned individuals from casinos over child neglect allegations.

So far, a total of four parents have made the "Bad" list.

Bad parents are those primarily noted for leaving their children unattended while gambling in the casino establishment.  This includes leaving small children in automobiles parked in casino lots and garages.

The Valley Forge Casino has taken things one step further by installing infared cameras that identify unaccompanied minors.

If you think it's rare for parents to leave their children unattended while they go gamble, guess again.  In Pennsylvania alone there have been years where close to a dozen such incidents occur.

But this is hardly a PA problem.

Marieny Elena Guimera-Revelo, 43, was arrested by Seminole Florida Police last April for leaving her two children, 3 and 11, unattended in a running car with the doors locked for about an hour.  The doctor was later ordered to avoid further contact with her kids.

Then there was the mother in Oregon who asked: "Why is this such a big deal?" after being arrested by La Center police for allegedly leaving her 3 year-old son locked in her car for more than eight hours while she gambled at Chips Palace Casino.

If you think that was bad, Saori Konno, 27, of Tokyo, Japan, left her 6-month old in a car in the summer heat while she went inside to play slots.  There was a major earthquake that occurred while inside and Konno still didn't return to her car to check on the toddler.  The child died.

The Pennsylvania banned bad parents include:

A male parent who left his children, ages 10 and 11, in a vehicle in the parking lot of Rivers Casino Philadelphia for approximately 20 minutes while he was inside gambling. The children were discovered alone in the vehicle by casino security

A female parent who left her 5-year-old in a vehicle in the parking lot of Rivers Casino Philadelphia for approximately 13 minutes while she was inside gambling. The child was discovered alone in the vehicle by another patron who notified casino security

A male parent who left two children, ages 1 and 3, in a vehicle in the parking lot of Live! Casino Pittsburgh for approximately 26 minutes as he was inside gambling. The children were discovered alone in the vehicle by other patrons who notified casino security

A male parent who left his 5-year-old unattended in a Mount Airy Casino Resort hotel room while he gambled in the casino. The incident was uncovered after the parent reported the child missing, though the child was later to be found by security sleeping in the room.
