Baylor's win over Gonzaga rewarded gamblers generously with an $800 payout on every $100 bet early in the season.

The Bears won their first NCAA Men's National Championship beating undefeated Gonzaga.  And it was a statement win, an 86-70 rout.

Jared Butler and their dynamic backcourt hit their first five 3-pointers and never cooled off.  Butler led the way with 22 points. MaCio Teague had 19 points and Davion Mitchell scored 15.

Gonzaga had been listed as the favorite to win the Championship all season long.  Until their Final Four game against UCLA, The Zags had beaten all but one team (West Virginia) by ten points or more this season.
