The Bears made a season high sixteen three-pointers.

Nine-seed Baylor walked away with a 78-69 victory.

We gave Baylor a 57% chance of covering the +2.5 spread against Syracuse.

Here is how we called it coming in:

No. 9 seed Baylor Bears win the always-tough-to-predict 8 vs. 9 matchup against Syracuse. The zone defense of Syracuse is iconic and can be tough to prepare for on short notice, but Baylor has had several days to gameplan for Jim Boeheim's 2-3. And Baylor already has an enormous built-in advantage over the zone to capitalize on.

The books have generally moved the line down from -2.5 to -1.5 in Syracuse's favor even though the Orange were seeing the most action.

Sagarin Ratings indicate a line of -2 for Baylor.

2018-19 College Basketball Record: 12-9 (57.1%)

2018-19 NBA Record: 6-3 (66.6%)

2018 MLB Record: 45-35 (56.2%)

2018 NBA Record: 12-4-1 (75%)
