Austin Baird, a spokesperson for Gov. Bill Walker's office, confirmed that "there has been no legislative activity on this issue in Alaska."

Nearly half the state that follows the NFL identify themselves as Seahawks fans, which makes sense since Seattle is the closest of the continental U.S. states.
