Dallas has won four of the last five in this series and six of the last eight.  The last two victories were by more than a touchdown but three previous losses were by less.

Colt McCoy is a quality backup taking over for Smith but there are other problems for Washington coming into this game.

Running back Chris Thompson was listed as our for Thursday's game vs. Dallas. He's still dealing with a broken rib. Left tackle Trent Williams (thumb), receiver Jamison Crowder (ankle) and corner Quinton Dunbar (shin) are questionable.
