Bet Bash is the "must attend" event of the year for anyone even remotely in love with sports betting.  Taking place on August 25 at The Ashford in Jersey City, NJ, Bet Bash brings together old school bookies, stateside sportsbook operators, sports bettors, handicappers and even a beloved politician.

It's not a stretch to say that former New Jersey state Senator Ray Lesniak may be single-handedly responsible for pushing through sports gambling legislation that ultimately made its way to the U.S. Supreme Court, and the rest is history

This networking event is being put together by the one and only Spanky The Sports Bettor.  If you haven't checked out Spanky's videos showing him getting "asked to leave" stateside sportsbooks, check out one below.

Bet Bash is a mere $75 to attend from 7 pm to 10 pm.  Meeting and talking to some of these old school bookies, making new friends and potentially landing a client or two is probably worth the price of admission alone, but this one comes with all you can drink top shelf liquor (not that watered down house garbage) along with all you can eat h'orderves.  The roof is reserved exclusively for this event.

Gambling911.com will be there along with Football monitoring advocate George Panagakis, pioneering sports betting advocate Joe Brennan, Jr, Pro sports bettor and co-founder Unabated Sports and BetTheProcess podcaster Rufus Peabody, former Costa Rican old school bookmakers Alfonso Straffon and Christopher Bruno as well as John Sheeran, Director of Trading at FanDuel.

We've checked flights across the US major hubs to Newark and found round trip flights as low as $134 out of Chicago, $171 out of Houston, and the popular sports betting service epicenter of South Florida, Miami/Fort Lauderalde just $128.  Round trips out of LA are $208 ($327 nonstop) and Las Vegas $302.  Round trip flights out of the offshore betting hub of San Jose, Costa Rica are just $305 nonstop on United.  We do not recommend Spirit Airlines due to the numerous cancellations they've been experiencing in recent weeks.  They aren't that much cheaper and they are not nonstop.

Jersey City is a fast 20 minute drive from Newark Liberty Airport.  The area of the event is ultra hip with a Hilton just one block away in addition to a Doubletree and Weston nearby.

Spanky has advised that this event was at 90% capacity heading into Monday night so do not procrastinate in getting your tickets here.

See y'all at Bet Bash!!!!
