Even when a team is winning outright, this doesn't necessarily mean they are covering the spread.  Gambling911.com looks at recent game performance for specific teams to see who is winning out - the bookie or the bettor.  Here we look at the Tennessee Vols as of February 22.

The Vols rank 5th in the nation.  Though they only have two losses on the season, they are just two wins above the .500 mark Against The Spread.

The Vols are a losing proposition for sports bettors, covering in just four of their last ten games overall.

On Saturday, Tennessee will face a very good 21-6 LSU team.

With the Vols expected to open at -1.5 Saturday, the Tigers could have some great value considering the home team has won the last four in this series.  The Tigers have won two of the last three in this series also. Louisiana State were a +6 home dog when they beat Tennesssee in March of 2017.

The underdog is 12-4 Against The Spread in the last 16 meetings.
