Even when a team is winning outright, this doesn't necessarily mean they are covering the spread.  Gambling911.com looks at recent game performance for specific teams to see who is winning out - the bookie or the bettor.  Here we look at the Virginia Tech Hokies as of February 23.

Virginia Tech was sitting at the .500 mark Against The Spread heading into Saturday's game against a 13-13 Straight Up Notre Dame game.  The Hokies only rank a 3 in the last ten games in terms of covering so they've been solid for the books, especially those in the Blacksburg and Roanoke area of Virginia.

Sagarin suggests the line should be Hokies -6.  Kyle Guy scored 23 points and No. 3 Virginia pulled away in the second half to beat No. 20 Virginia Tech 64-58 on Monday night.  That represented the Hokies sixth loss of the season.  They sit at the .500 mark Against The Spread.  Notre Dame has won eight of the last ten in this series.  VTech has won two of the last three in this series. The road team is 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings.
