Bitcoin Sees First Ever Decline Over Quarter 2

Bitcoin's 7-year winning streak during quarter 2 has been snapped.

Bitcoin has hit a low of $5,827.  It was trading at $6,560 Friday afternoon.

A sharp increase in price to kick off the quarter was followed by a drastic downturn during the month of June.

BTC's 1,964 percent rally in the second quarter of 2011 was its best performance during this period.

The Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially announced its regulations for initial coin offerings (ICOs).
