Books Win With Cavs Cover Wednesday Night

The LA Lakers saw the most lopsided betting action in North American facing sports Wednesday, resulting in a nice win for bookmakers.

LA walked away with a 109-105 victory with Lebron James return to Cleveland for the first time since joining the Lakers. That win was not enough to cover the 8 point spread.  More than 85% of the spread action was on the Lakers at some books.

The Lakers have only covered in six of seventeen games played so far this season.

James finished with 32 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists. He also scored or assisted on 11 straight points as the Lakers overcame a 99-91 deficit in the fourth quarter.

On the night before Thanksgiving, Cleveland said thanks to the Northeast Ohio son, the one who ended the city's 52-year championship drought.

"We recognize the fact that certainly this is a big night for the city of Cleveland," Cavs coach Larry Drew said before tipoff, "because a hero has come back."

The Cavs, who came in an NBA-worst 2-13, didn't roll over against James and played one of their best games this season.
