Can I Bet the NFL Online From Wisconsin?
While the US Supreme Court has now made sports betting legal in the Unite States, though Wisconsin residents will not be able to bet on the NFL via their mobile phones this upcoming season from any state regulated establishment. WILL WISCONSIN WELCOME SPORTS BETTING IN THE NEAR FUTURE?
Wisconsin had a law that prohibits full-blown sports betting. That law was amended and sports betting became a reality in 2021, just not online.
The Oneida Nation began offering sports betting at its main casino in Green Bay in November 2021. That casino is located just four miles outside of Lambeau Field.
Wisconsin's law allows for retail sports betting at 27 gaming locations operated by 11 Native American tribes should they elect to obtain a license.
It should be noted that mobile betting is allowed in specified locations on tribal land.
