You can bet with TVG from the state of Massachusetts online.  You must be 21 and up to do so.  Other alternatives for those 18 and up include Wager6 with their amazing 8% back on losses and those who bet other sports qualify for a welcome bonus up to 200% of what they open their account with.  Wager6 will NEVER report your winnings.

Residents of the following states are NOT eligible for a TVG account due to state regulations include: Alabama, Alaska, Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia.

If you plan on playing at TVG, be forewarned that Massachusetts has instituted a 5% tax withholding on winnings of $600 or more. This is independent of and in addition to the federal IRS tax reporting and withholding.  Wager6 customers are not subject to any of this.

Horse racing and parimutuel gambling are legal and regulated in Massachusetts. In-person wagering, simulcast wagering and online betting are all legal if offered by licensed entities.

The only remaining live horse racing in Massachusetts is at Plainridge Park Casino, which has harness racing.  Suffolk Downs is a former Thoroughbred race track in East Boston.

TVG is owned by FanDuel.
