"This defense is good enough to win a national title. Everything comes down to the offense. Clemson freshman QB Cade Klubnik has reportedly added size to his frame heading into camp, per Zach Lentz on Twitter.

Rivals college football analyst Adam Gorney believes the five-star QB is the top quarterback in this year's freshman class.  

He ranked as the 20th overall prospect on the 247Sports composite board and was named Texas Gatorade Player of the Year in 2021.

South Carolina is favored to win at least 7 games in 2022 at -150.  Perhaps that is an indication they are going to improve, having finished 7-6 last season. 

A very difficult schedule along with some questionable talent in the trenches will make it difficult for this Gamecocks team to be part of any championship talk.
