Can I Bet on Draftkings Sportsbook App From Massachusetts?

You will not be able to bet using the Draftkings sportsbook app from Massachusetts at the moment.  Currently, Jazz Sports does take bets from those living in Massachusetts and is offering a 125% welcome bonus here - USE BONUS CODE: G911.  (example: fund your account with $200, get a FREE $325 - *restrictions apply).

When Can I Bet Using the Draftkings App From Inside Massachusetts

DraftKings was instrumental in getting its daily fantasy sports platform legalized in the state, having had its headquarters based out of Boston.  With lawmakers having just passed a measure allowing sportsbooks to operate in-state, DraftKings was expected to launch a its sports betting app in the commonwealth some time in early 2023.

The state's casinos and lotteries are likely to have the most clout here and it is unclear whether they will want DraftKings in the picture as they will oversee the provisions.

This hasn't necessarily proven to be an easy path as MGM Springfield's BetMGM app came under intense scrutiny during the application process.

Despite progress in surrounding states like Connecticut, sports betting remained at a standshill in Massachusetts until the waning hours of the legislative period to conclude July 2022 before lawmakers finally got their bill passed.

One major drawback for these state-sanctioned apps: DraftKings will not be able to offer credit cards as an option to open an online sports betting account.   This will benefit those sites taking bets from Massachusetts residents that are based outside the state and licensed internationally.
