Can I Bet the Preakness Stakes on the Caesars Sportsbook App?

In March, Caesars Sportsbook announced it will soon be teaming up with another popular horse racing platform to offer betting on dozens of races throughout the world. Customers using the Caesars app reported not being able to bet this year's Kentucky Derby and the same seems to be applying to this weekend's Preakness Stakes. Some other great options include BetOnline, which offers a 50% welcome bonus up to $1,000 on your first-ever deposit.

Will the Caesars Sportsbook Offer Betting on Horse Races?

Horse racing and sports fans across the country will soon be able to download the Caesars Racebook app on iOS or Android for horse racing.

Caesars is a longtime supporter of horse racing and operates racing at Harrah's Hoosier Park, Horseshoe Indianapolis, Harrah's Philadelphia, and Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs. They will also be building and operating a Harrah's racetrack and casino in Columbus, Nebraska. The company is also the proud host of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association's National Handicapping Championship at Horseshoe Las Vegas.

Caesars is only available in the following US states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. It was not immediately clear as to whether the horse racing app will be available in the state of New Jersey where Caesars currently takes other sports bets and offers online casino games via its app. Horse betting online is not available from New Jersey on most apps. BetOnline also does not accept customers from the state of New Jersey.

BetOnline is not available in Pennsylvania or Nevada.
