College Basketball Picks & Best NCAA Basketball Odds [Dec.9]

The college basketball world is shifting into conference play, but there are still non-conference games of note to be played throughout the season, not to mention tons of betting.

One of those highlights the schedule on Thursday, December 9th. We have the expert’s hottest college basketball picks for a few of today's NCAAB games.

Three of the four games featuring ranked teams on Thursday provide all the action you are looking for. The newly crowned number one team in the nation for the first time ever, the Purdue Boilermakers, play for the first time since becoming the top team in all of the land when they face Rutgers.

In a big rivalry game, the number 17 ranked Iowa State Cyclones face the Iowa Hawkeyes, whose only loss of the season came to Purdue last week. The Cyclones have wins over Memphis, Xavier, and Creighton so far this season.

The only matchup between two ranked teams is the game between Texas and Seton Hall. Seton Hall had a win over Michigan early in the season, and they only fell short in a close three-point loss to Ohio State. Texas is ranked seventh in the country, their lone loss in a close game to Gonzaga. Chris Beard has the Longhorns in a great spot, and a win over a ranked Pirates team will be good for their resume come March.
