Creighton will pay out $2500 for every $100 bet to win the 2021 NCAA Tournament.  Bookmaker.eu is offering a generous CASH welcome bonus for this year's tournament (max bonus $1600)

Creighton returns to the NCAA Tournament following a one year absence prior to last season's pandemic.  They will take on UC Santa Barbara in the first round as a -6.5 favorite.

The Bluejays got beat up badly by the Hoyas in their Big East men's basketball championship game.  They lost three of their last six games heading into the NCAA Tournament.

Then there is this: Creighton reinstated coach Greg McDermott following a four-day suspension for racially insensitive language he used in front of his team following the Feb. 27 loss to Xavier.

McDermott immediately issued an apology and later posted on Twitter saying he owned his mistake, going so far as saying he would have resigned if his players wanted.

"Specifically, I said: 'Guys, we got to stick together,'" McDermott tweeted. "'We need both feet in. I need everybody to stay on the plantation. I can't have anybody leave the plantation.'"

The word "plantation" carries racist overtones for its connotations of slavery and repression.

The team seems to have moved on though.

The Bluejays rarely turn the ball over and have greatly improved their defense.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
