This weekend, huge games take place in college football with Ohio State battling Penn State and Stanford taking on Notre Dame. Check out college football games as well as NFL games that you should use in any cross-league promoted football parlays.

Cross-League Football Parlays to Promote

NCAA Games – Saturday, Sep. 29

UL-Lafayette at #1 Alabama -49

Northern Illinois at Eastern Michigan -3.5

#7 Stanford at #8 Notre Dame -5.5

#4 Ohio State -3.5 at #9 Penn State

Oregon State +22 at ASU -22

USC -3.5 at Arizona +3.5

The 6 games above should provide football handicappers a serious challenge. Alabama should beat UL-Lafayette by 49 points. Bama coach Nick Saban doesn’t like to drub bad opponents like UL-Lafayette anymore than he must. Will Bama cover the spread even though Saban pulls his starters before the start of the third quarter?

Eastern Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, ASU, and USC are lukewarm favorites. ASU’s defense has fallen apart since looking like one of the best units earlier this year, Penn State has scored over 60 points in each of their last couple of games, while USC is reeling after two straight losses and Arizona has climbed to .500.

NFL Games – Sunday, Sep. 30

Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys -3

Buffalo Bills at Green Bay Packers -10

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Chicago Bears -3

Cincinnati Bengals at Atlanta Falcons -5

Cleveland Browns at Oakland Raiders -3

There’s so much parity in the NFL that online bookie agents can pretty much put any NFL game into their promoted parlays and expect NFL bettors to have trouble handicapping the game. The above games, though, appear particularly difficult to handicap. Only a couple of percentage points separate those who favor each team in every one of the games above to cover the spread.

Cleveland at Oakland is particularly tight with 50% of bettors favoring the Browns at +3 and 50% favoring the Raiders at -3. Buffalo beat Minnesota straight up as a +17 dog in Week 4. The Bills garnered tons of action early to cover at +10, but since that early action, bettors have backed Green Bay.
