Negreanu Chimes in on Depp-Heard Trial: Justice for Johnny, Amber a Liar
Everyone these days seems to have an opinion on the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard trial. Included among them is none other than poker's biggest money earner, Daniel Negreanu.
Negreanu is on Team Depp and tweeted out his reason why.
Kid Poker notes the apparent inconsistencies between her testimony and what appears in court documents.
In regard to Amber, who claimed she was abused by Depp, Negreanu asks: "Does anyone believe if she had these injuries that she wouldn’t have taken a single picture at any point? It’s not plausible or believable to me at all considering how much she documented during the relationship."
The poke pro then concludes: "She doesn’t have pictures, because it never happened."
1/4 The most compelling evidence for me in the #justiceforjohnydepp trial is the fact that she documents pretty much everything from him sleeping to a mark on her arm, but in the cases she claims he punched her in the face with metal rings on, she provides

Both Depp and Heard are successful Hollywood actors who were married from 2015 to 2017.
Heard accused Depp of intimate partner violence and ultimately sued his ex-wife in February 2019 over an op-ed she wrote appearing in The Washington Post in December 2018.
Depp blamed Heard's op-ed for his losing roles.
In the op-ed, Heard had described becoming "a public figure representing domestic abuse" and "seeing, in real time, how institutions protect men accused of abuse."
The case is expected to continue through May 26. Betting is available at BetOnline here.
