Daniel Negreanu Loses His WSOP Poker Player of the Year Title
Sites like Gambling911.com were among those that proclaimed Daniel Negreanu "World Series of Poker Player of the Year" last week. Now comes word Kid Poker has lost the title.

A "data entry error" has led to the decision to take back the title.
A miscount as resulted in the title now going to Robert Campbell.

The WSOP issue the following statement to explain:
We've been made aware of an error on the 2019 POY leaderboard. After verifying results and points, Rob Campbell (@SonicJaxx2019) is the 2019 POY.

For his part, Negreanu seems to be taking the whole thing in stride. He tweeted Monday:
