It's being billed as "semi-scientific" by our friends at BetOnline.  Their Twitter map reflects who America is rooting for in what's become the biggest Hollywood trial since the OJ Murder case.

While there is no murder involved here, the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation case features allegations of abuse - both verbal and physical - as well as incontinence, and dare we say some pretty bad acting on the stand (we're looking at you Amber).

Over the last six weeks, gaming website BetOnline.ag tracked the top hashtags in support of Depp or Heard in each state.  They've also been taking bets on the trial.  Gambling911's coverage of this case has been the most trafficked of the year so far, beating out all the top sporting events.

The BetOnline Twitter map results were arrived at via a series of hashtags that included:  #JusticeForJohnnyDepp, #IStandWithJohnnyDepp, #IBelieveJohnnyDepp and #AmberHeardIsALiar were included in support of Depp. On the opposing side, #JusticeForAmberHeard, #IStandWithAmberHeard, #IBelieveAmberHeard and #JohnnyDeppIsAnAbuser.

More than 1 million tweets were tracked covering all 50 states, and the results produced a landslide victor.

Without further ado, we present you with the map.

As you can see from the map, only 3 states (Massachusetts, Georgia and Oregon) support Heard versus 47 in support of Depp.

The overall totals from all 50 states showed that Depp had 875,800 tweets in favor of his side while Heard had just 163,767 supporting tweets.

A verdict has been reached with the jury making its announcement at 3 pm ET Wednesday.
