Fears over the spread of the dreaded Coronavirus may begin to affect bookies, sports bettors and fans alike as there are increased calls for the cancellation of major sporting events, first the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, and now March Madness. Fear not sports fans and gamblers as the NCAA is being pressured into holding the March Madness Tournament without an audience.

This at least means the show will go on.
“In regard to the NCAA’s March Madness Tournament and other athletic events, there should be a serious discussion about holding competitions without an audience present,” the National College Players Association said in a statement.
There are more than 60 confirmed cases of the coronavirus nationwide. Washington state confirmed the first death from the virus on Saturday.
Selection Sunday commences March 15.
