Controversy Brewing: Draftkings Voiding Tyson-Jones Bets?
Draftkings was among the only sportsbooks that booked Saturday night's monster Mike Tyson-Roy Jones, Jr fight. Because it was billed as an exhibition fight, few were taking bets. BetOnline only offered a handful of prop wagers, including whether Tyson-Jones would go the distance.
Draftkings, which is licensed in a handful of US states, sponsored Saturday night's showdown. It ended in a draw. On Sunday morning, Draftkings customers were claiming the company voided these bets.
It is not immediately clear how much action came in on this fight.
I’ve seen a lot of crooked gaming practices in 13 years between Dominican, Trinidad, Colombia and Panama. But the first time I have felt awkward/uncomfortable watching was seeing DraftKings sponsor, book, and then collect on the Tyson/Jones event and decision tonight. Brutal.

Exhibition meaning it had certain rules. No knockouts and two minute rounds. It was literally sponsored by Draft Kings. There still should’ve been a winner. Tyson won at least 7 rounds. You can’t come up and say they decided to call it a draw all the while you set up betting.

@DraftKings did the most dirty thing last night to it’s bettors. The scorecards were clearly paid off if that fight was a draw. Tyson won every round. Not a good fight in general but literally zero question who won. This isn’t a mess up it was intentional. The money was on Tyson

The fact that @DraftKings live odds before the final round of Tyson/Jones Jr. was Tyson -5000 is evidence enough it was not a draw. Clownish.
