Drake is an impressive 21-7-2 Against The Spread this season, best in College Basketball.

Like with Gonzaga, Drake found itself upset a few nights ago.

Wyatt Lohaus had a career-high 27 points as Northern Iowa narrowly defeated Drake 60-58 in the semifinals of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament on Saturday.

The Bulldogs injuries piling up may prove to be too much.

Drake was without its leading scorer and MVC defensive player of the year Nick McGlynn.  He sugared an injured knee in the quarterfinals and was unable to play.

The team has suffered through injuries throughout the season while defying all expectations.

“It’s a year where you start off with all question marks when you get the job, and then these guys come together,” first-year coach Darian DeVries said. “I told them what they’ve done to establish a culture long term for what we want to do, I couldn’t have asked for a better group.”

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
