Even the oddsmakers make mistakes, from time to time.

On Thursday, SportsBetting.ag released a line for the potential boxing bout between Anderson Silva and Jake Paul. Silva was positioned as a +160 underdog while Paul was a -200 favorite.

However, an influx of one-sided wagers on Silva forced the bookie to suspend betting and re-open the line with different odds.

"At the end of the day, it was a bad line," BetOnline Odds Manager, Adam Burns, said. "It happens, and our customers are going to alert us of the mistake very quickly. In the first couple of hours, we took a few dozen bets on the match, with all but one being on Silva. We took the line off the board and moved it very aggressively."

Silva was re-opened as a -185 favorite (Paul +155), but the movement didn't stop there. The UFC legend quickly jumped to -225, and now here are the current odds:

Fight Odds

Anderson Silva -240

Jake Paul +190

(Odds imply a 70.6% probability Silva will win)
