Parlays are especially popular due to the large sum of money you can make on teams to simply win, not cover the spread. The catch is that all teams you pick must win in order for you to cash out.

The key to choosing teams is to stay clear of teams that have NOT had the edge when it comes to head-to-head trends.
Elimination
Case in point: The Sacramento Kings were hosting the Charlotte Hornets as a -205 favorite. Both teams had nearly identical records, a few wins below the .500 mark. But Charlotte had won five of the last six games in this series dating back to February 2017. This immediately eliminates Sacramento from any parlay while Charlotte was a good consideration and did win December 17, 2019.
Don't Be Afraid to Include High Priced Favorites
Utah had won their last three home games versus the Magic dating back to 2017 and they had gone 5-1 in the last six meetings versus Orlando. There was a reason why Utah came into this game as a big -270 favorite and easily won.
Two Team Parlays Work
We did include the Nets in a three team parlay for a sweet three-team parlay December 17 but just including Charlotte (a hot underdog) and Utah (a significant favorite) resulted in a payout of $263 using the $100 bet.
Pass on Games With Injuries
The Lakers lost in Indiana despite being a decent size road favorite. LA would have been eliminated from any parlay this day as the Pacers did have an edge in the head-to-head seriers and have been playing well. The Lakers had players who were questionable. In theory we could have thrown Indiana in a parlay but the Lakers have been dominant, so hard to go against them. This one was off the board earlier in the day.
