Max Meyer of SI.com writes that, after the New England loss last season, Julio Jones was targeted 13 times in the red zone over the Falcons’ final 10 games, and the Falcons went 7-3 over that span after a 3-3 start.

Carson Wentz Feeling Good in Drills

There was some question as to whether Carson Wentz would be taking to the field in Week 1 after the injury suffered last season.  Nick Foles is still around, but even so the Week 1 line on the Falcons-Eagles game has been coming off the board at times.

“Yesterday went well,” Wentz said. “I think early in the week, as far as team and scheme and everything, and just getting back out there for a lot of those guys. But overall, I thought the guys looked good, I felt good, knee was feeling good, so it was a good day."

There is no guarantee Wentz will be able to go in Week 1.

“It was up to the doctors,” said Wentz on staying out of 11-on-11s for most of Training Camp. “I would have loved to play in the Super Bowl, too, but I wasn’t physically capable. I felt good. Again, it just kind of boiled down to a controlled environment. That’s what we wanted to maintain.”
