The highly anticipated Field of Dreams game between the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox will take place at 7:15 pm ET at the Field of Dreams ball park in Dyersville, Iowa.
Andrew Heaney (7-8, 5.45) will start for the Yankees and Lance Lynn (10-3, 2.04) will start for the White Sox. Live odds for this game can be found here.
The special event will take place among the famed cornfields at the site where the 1989 film starring Kevin Costner was filmed...sort of. The original field wasn't quite up to par for a Major League Baseball game. It remains still intact as a tourist attraction just south of where this game will take place along the same path made famous in the film. A new 8,000-seat stadium was built on the site made famous in the movie.
The Yankees have won the last five games in this series but, more importantly perhaps, the UNDER is 13-6.
Heaney allowed four runs over six innings on Saturday in a win over the Mariners while Lynn delivered another dominant performance in a tough-luck no-decision against the Cubs on Friday afternoon.
Though Jose Abreu has three homers against Heaney and is 3 of 10 at bats, the team as a whole is just .109 versus the Yankees starter with 10 hits in 51 at bats.
