The line on this game did open at 8.5 and dropped down to -7 (dipping as far down as -6).  65% of the early action was on the Florida spread.  On the surface it does appear as if the books are trying to get folks betting on the favorite, despite the somewhat lopsided action.  Could we see a Miami cover here?

Sagarin actually believes Florida should only be favored by 2 points.

These teams last met in 2013, so there are no recent head-to-head trends worth focusing on.

What we do like are team trends, mostly pertaining to the Hurricanes and the UNDER.

The UNDER is 6-0-1 in the Hurricanes last 7 games overall and 7-1 in Hurricanes last 8 neutral site games.

The Canes are also 1-9 Against The Spread in their last 10 neutral site games.
