Gambling911.com was thrilled to take part in the first in-person iGaming event in North America - and perhaps the world - since before the start of Covid-19.

Taking place at the Grateful Palate on the serene Intercoastal of Fort Lauderdale, the invite-only event represented the launch of Sigma's North American efforts under the banner of "SIGMA Americas".   It attracted industry professionals from across the United States, including affiliates, operators, suppliers, sports handicappers (a big shoutout to our good friend Mitch) and media outlets.

Ryan Knuppel of Knup Solutions was instrumental in helping to orchestrate the much welcomed face-to-face event.  He tells Gambling911.com organizers are looking into future host cities with Nashville next on the radar, though not official as of yet.

Several dozen were in attendance for the Fort Lauderdale gathering.  It featured an open bar and extravagant dinner in addition to a cigar social.

And for those curious, hugs and hand shakes were the norm (no fist pumps found here).  This was a serious question posed on at least one of the iGaming member rooms: "How will you be greeting people when in-person conferences return?"
