#FreeBritany: Britney Spears Conservatorship Odds

Everybody is rooting for Britney Spears, though the oddsmakers appear less optimistic that the "Oops I Did It Again" pop star will be released from her conservatorship in 2021?  The NO is priced around -350 across those books offering odds of this occurring.

The court order has been in effect since 2008.

Appearing in court Thursday, Spears passionately told a judge Wednesday that she wants to end the “abusive” case that has made her feel demoralized and enslaved.

The singer has claimed this situation is making her use birth control and take other medications against her will.

“This conservatorship is doing me way more harm than good,” the 39-year-old Spears said during a live stream that could be viewed by her millions of fans. “I deserve to have a life.”

Britney took to Instagram following the court appearance.

“I apologize for pretending like I’ve been ok the past two years …I did it because of my pride and I was embarrassed to share what happened to me," she posted.

Spears told Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny that “I want to end this conservatorship without being evaluated.”

The judge thanked Spears but did not make a ruling on the matter as a long drawn out legal process is still anticipated.

Spears said she wants to marry her boyfriend Sam Asghari and have a baby with him, but she is not allowed to even drive with him.

“All I want is to own my money and for this to end and for my boyfriend to be able to drive me in his (expletive) car,” Spears said.
