1. Giants @ Padres

Steven Matz TOR

(13-7, 3.84)

Michael Pineda MIN

(7-8, 3.74)

The total is 9.5.  Toronto can be gotten for -136.

Four of the last ten games have gone OVER this total.

Pineda pitched well in Friday's victory over the Blue Jays, allowing three runs (one earned) on three hits over 5 2/3 innings of work.  He had a victory prior to that game.

Steven Matz yielded two runs on three hits over 5 2/3 innings in Saturday's win over the Twins.  He allowed five runs over six innings on Sunday in a win over the Orioles prior to that game.

There are signs the Blue Jays bats are starting to cool off a bit and that might not get us over the 9.5 hump or a victory in Minnesota as the Twins have played Toronto well of late.

We will pass on this one.

2. Giants @ Padres

Logan Webb SF

(10-3, 2.79)

Yu Darvish SD

(8-10, 4.13)

San Diego has won only two games in the last ten while San Francisco has won seven of their last ten.

Webb recorded nine strikeouts over seven innings on Friday in a no-decision against the Braves but had a win prior to that game despite giving up five runs.  He had given up very few runs in his previous starts over the past month.

Seven of the Giants last ten games have seen San Francisco score at least 6 runs.  The total on this game is 7.5.

Webb can also pitch deep into the game.

San Diego has scored 5 or more runs in five of their last seven games.

In 105 at bats, Darvish has allowed just 23 hits by Giants batters.

In 47 at bats, Webb has only permitted one homer.

With Darvish desperate for a win and capable versus the Giants, Gambling911.com will be on the UNDER 7.5.
