Gambling911.com has the line on Villanova vs. Seton Hall a PICK'EM.  The Pirates did open at -1 overnight.

Villanova has owned this series, winning eight of the last ten.

Justin Moore scored 12 of his 17 points after halftime and Caleb Daniels added 16 points to lead No. 23 Villanova to a 71-58 victory over No. 18 Xavier on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, the Pirates endured only their second loss of the season to No. 21 Providence 70-65.  But Seton Hall came into that game ravaged by Covid-19.  Only eight players were in uniform. Five were in COVID-19 protocols, but only one starter, 7-foot-2 center Ike Obiagu, was out.

"It was really different," Seton Hall's Myles Cale said of the small bench. "We were missing guys that you usually travel with and build that chemistry around. You're just missing that feeling about the game because they definitely bring that energy. I wish they could have been there, but it's just the times we're living in."

Since 2017, Villanova has gone 6-1 Straight Up versus conference opponents.

Seton Hall is 50-15 playing at home since 2017 for a 74.9% win percentage. Against ranked opponents they are just 13-20 Straight Up however.

The wins by Villanova in recent games of the series are a bit deceptive as Seton Hall has only lost by more than four points in their last meeting (8 points) over a span of six games.  Two of those were outright wins by the Pirates while two others were losses by just two points.  Seton Hall is 4-2 Against The Spread over this period.

Gambling911.com suggests a play on Seton Hall here.
