Most Wagered on Sides NFL Week 3
The Rams, Chiefs, Packers and Steelers sit within the top 5 most wagered on sides at books across the board. The Patriots were also seeing lopsided action, but gamblers were mostly shying away from the 20-plus line here.
The Rams-Browns game will leave books heavily exposed being that this one is taking place nationally on Sunday night.
LA is seeing 70% of the spread action at -3.5. The trend has moved from -1 to -3.5 with little evidence of an opinion (i.e. books moving the number to -3 in an effort to get more action on the big public favorite).
Sagarin is indicating the line should be slightly closer to the -4.
Of the high volume early games, Kansas City is getting lopsided action, but only 55/45 as a -5.5 favorite hosting Baltimore. A win by the Chiefs shouldn't impact the books badly.
New England is seeing 68% of the action as a -21 favorite versus Miami.
The Packers line has come off of -8.5 to -7.5 as they host the Broncos. Again, we are only seeing around a 53/47 differential here.
Do continue to monitor the Steelers-49ers game later in the afternoon. This one has Pittsburgh seeing 75% of the spread action in San Francisco at +6.5.
Despite this, the books are trending a half point down (-7 to -6.5 most books). Sagarin suggests a line of San Francisco -8.5.
Gambling911.com will be backing the 49ers this afternoon as books will be heavily exposed with Pittsburgh.
