The T-Wolves Championship odds have gone from 40-1 to 25-1 to win the NBA Championship in 2023.

Rudy Gobert's trade from the Utah Jazz to the Minnesota Timberwolves has resulted in the later team going from 40-1 to 25-1 to win the NBA Championship in 2023.

Now, with perhaps the most balanced frontcourt in the NBA, and a budding star in Anthony Edwards, the Minnesota Timberwolves have moved into a “contender” position, at least according to our futures.

The Jazz agreed to trade the three-time defensive player of the year to the Timberwolves for a massive package of players and draft picks.  This is so far considered to be the biggest off season trade.

Utah will receive four first-round picks between 2023 and 2029, a first-round pick from this year’s draft in Walker Kessler, along with Patrick Beverley and Malik Beasley.

Gobert, 30, has spent his entire nine-year career in Utah.

The Jazz have not fared well in the odds department following this trade.  They witnessed their odds go from 50-1 to 66-1.

Utah appears to be a team in a bit of turmoil heading into 2023.  Boston Celtics assistant coach Will Hardy is a leading candidate to be the new head coach for the Utah Jazz.
