Heat vs. Bucks Betting Preview

The Bucks come into this series as the number 3 seed in the East but just three games behind the first-place Philadelphia 76ers with an impressive 46-26 record.  The Heat are the sixth seed in this year’s Eastern Conference playoff field and own a 40-32 record.

Forward Khris Middleton is a solid second scorer, averaging 20.4 points per game and shooting 41.4 percent from three-point range. The biggest change for Milwaukee from seasons past is the presence of guard Jrue Holiday, who averaged 17.7 points and 6.1 assists in his first season with the Bucks. He is a solid perimeter defender as well, fitting in well with the Bucks.

The shooting of Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson will be important for the Heat, as they can open things up inside if they’re hitting from long distance. The two guards hit 36.0 and 40.8 percent, respectively, from three-point range.

Miami has had some success against Milwaukee of late, winning six of the last ten meetings.  Three of the Bucks wins were blowouts while another covered the current spread.

Taking the Heat to cover throughout the series could be the more profitable pick here.

The UNDER is 11-5 in the last 16 meetings with a total of 227.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
