Hellmuth Dresses as Gandalf for This Year's WSOP
For better or worse one can always count on the World Series of Poker bracelet record holder Phil Hellmuth to make a grand entrance at each year's WSOP Main Event. This year is no exception.
The self-proclaimed "Poker Brat" arrived at the 2021 WSOP dressed as none other than Gandalf the wizard from Lord of the Rings. Hellmuth creates his own costumes, and they can be pretty amazing for sure.
“A wizard is never late, Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."

Hellmuth has made headlines throughout this year's WSOP, first with an epic meltdown which had him threatening to burn the place down.
Then he went on to win his 16th bracelet, setting yet another record.
Tuesday night's entrance has triggered some as well.
CardChat asked the question: "Has the Hellmuth show jumped the shark?"
Remko Rinkema, senior media manager at PokerGo, tweeted an image of Hellmuth’s entrance with the caption “I feel physically ill from the levels of cringe right now.” Another industry member, Jessica Welman, was even less impressed.
“That Hellmuth entrance is just the latest example that the WSOP is a brand that feels really tired right now,” she tweeted.
