Eating hot dogs is a Fourth of July tradition for many Americans, and so has become the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog-Eating Contest, which appropriately you can bet on.
Joey Chestnut set a world record last year after consuming 75 dogs in just 10 minutes, and he is typically a pretty signifant favorite. This makes it difficult to bet on him to win outright without a high risk/ratio reward.
The Vegas odds aren't projecting another record-setting day for "Jaws". You can bet on whether the oddsmakers are right or wrong in terms of the number of dogs consumed. Over/Under 73.5
