He won $74,400 for the day, making his total $2,065,535.

It was Holzhauer’s 27th consecutive win, and an easy one at that.  The only remaining contestant entering the final sat at the $1000 mark and was unable to come up with the correct answer.

Holzahauer is a professional sports bettor who previously discussed how this skill has allowed him to succeed at Jeopardy.

Ken Jennings holds the record for most won with a total of $3,370,700.
