Colts Over Future Bettors May be in Luck After All
Andrew Luck's shock retirement annoucement just weeks before the start of the season had Indianapolis Colts futures bettors banging their heads against the wall.
Oddsmakers were quick to drop the regular season total to 6.5 after the news broke.
Unfortunately, those who bet the OVER prior to Luck's announcement likely had the Colts winning 10 or more regular season games.
The good news is they are certainly on course to do just that with a 3-2 record and more than a quarter of the season complete. More imporantly they upset the team with the second shortest odds of winning the Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Some books are still offering a $170 payout on every $100 bet to win the AFC South.
