Want to play the online roulette game for real money? Do not rush. It is better to plan every detail of your gameplay. Before you bet everything on black on roulette, learn the basics of this game of chance. We have outlined the detailed instructions below. So spend a couple of minutes of your time and build a strategy to make you a winner.

STEP 1 — Study the Equipment for Playing Roulette

Before you make a bet at real money roulette in Canada, get to know what a roulette wheel looks like and how the gaming process is arranged. As a rule, there are 36 sections and a zero (zero) on the roulette wheel. Some American roulette types also use the second zero sector “00,” which you can also bet on. A dealer launches a small white ball, which eventually lands on one of the sections. Players place their bets on a special table with numbers from 0 to 36 (the same as on the roulette wheel), and their mission is to guess where the ball will land.

STEP 2 — Explore the Different Types of Roulette Bets

The following sectors for quick bets can additionally be displayed on the table:

  • For numbers from 1 to 18 — the size of the cash payment is 20:1. In this case, if the player bets $10 on 1-18 sectors and one of the numbers from 1 to 18 comes up, the payout to the player will be $200;

  • For numbers from 19 to 36 — the size of the cash payment is 1:1;

  • For even or odd numbers — the size of the cash payment is 1:1;

  • For red or black numbers — the size of the cash payment is 1:1.

Besides, the player can place a bet on 3 numbers (Street bet); the size of the cash payment will be 11:1. In other words, if a player bets $1,000 on three numbers and one of them falls out, then the casino will pay the player $12,000. Finally, the largest cash payout is for a 1-number bet (Straight Up) — 35:1. In this case, a successful bet of $1,000 will bring the player a prize of $36,000.

Apart from the above roulette cash bet types, some other stakes are accepted:

  • Cross or Corner — the chip is placed at the intersection of four numbers, which the player is counting on falling out. The size of the cash payment is 8:1;

  • Six line Bet — This bet is a combination of two Street bets. The chip is placed on the border of two merging straights. The payout to the player is 5:1;

  • Columns or a bet on 12 numbers — the payout is 2:1;

  • Dozens — the bet is placed on one of the numbers from 1 to 12, from 13 to 24 or from 25 to 36. The payout to the player will be 2:1.

In American roulette, there is an additional bet — on 5 numbers “0, 00, 1, 2, 3” (the payout is 6:1) and a bet on two zeros “0, 00” (the payout is 17:1).

STEP 3 — Learn the Betting Systems

Once you are done with checking the accepted bet types, you should also dive deep into the betting systems, d'Alembert, Martingale, and Grand Martingale in particular. Thus, you can further study the methods of probability theory, mathematical statistics, and game theory. The knowledge gained will increase your winning odds and will help you make the right bet with no special effort on your end.

What Makes a Gambling Platform More Trustworthy Than Others?

iGaming has become significantly popular due to various promotions, a wide selection of games, and overall ease of access as most online casinos are usually a few clicks away. With the expansion of iGaming, there are a vast number of online casinos to choose from, and this can prove difficult in an age where online safety and security should be a top priority. As such, finding a safe and secure alternative boils down to trustworthiness, fairness, and security - three factors that can make or break a casino's credibility.
