This Year's IEM Katowice Most Attended eSports Event in History

The ESL attendance numbers are out and we have a new world record.

This year's IEM Katowice was the most attended esports event in history with 174,000 fans packing into the Spodek Arena and expo over the course of two weekends.

The event was broadcast on both traditional linear television and streaming platforms worldwide across 21 language.

The CS:GO Major drew 126 million hours watched and nearly 195 million viewers according to ESL.
