Holzhauer won about $69,000 during Wednesday's show, increasing his total winnings throughout his 30-day run to $2,323,971.

Jennings grand total winnings were $2,520,700.

But it took Jennings 74 days to accomplish that feat.  Holzhauer is within $200,000 of Jennings record in under half the number of days.  If he were to make it 74 days at the current rate, Holzhauer would likely double Jennings winning mark.  Holzhauer is projected to break Jennings record by Monday.

The 34-year-old professional sports bettor originally from Illinois, but now residing in Las Vegas, has become a ratings sensation for the popular quiz show.  The show hit a 14-year ratings high prior to the Teacher's tournament earlier this month in which Holzhauer went on a two-week hiatus.
