Jurassic World Dominion is the next big blockbuster film to debut in theatres across the globe June 10.  The film kicked off at the international box office with a mighty $55.4 million.

Jurassic World Dominion (June 10)

Projected Opening Weekend: $175,000,000

Projected Worldwide: $1,400,000,000

This is supposed to be the epic conclusion of the Jurassic era.

Jurassic World Dominion premiered in Mexico City on May 23, 2022, and is slated to be theatrically released in the United States on June 10, 2022 by Universal Pictures in IMAX, 4DX, RealD 3D, and Dolby Cinema.

Jurassic World Dominion had the biggest start in Mexico with $18 million, followed by Korea with $15 million, Brazil with $4.3 million and Italy with $3.4 million.

It stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Laura Dern.

Of the eight reviews on RottenTomatoes.com, only one was actually rotten.

Jorge Arturo Mora of La Nacion in Costa Rica writes: "A film that uses the old legends of the franchise to give an emotionally hard hit to its new characters."

Ard Vijn of ScreenAnarchy writes: "In the end, it is what it is. If you want dinosaurs, chases and familiar faces, Jurassic World Dominion delivers. If you want some spice, blood and surprise, you'll have to look somewhere else."

2015's Jurassic World and 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, each surpassed $1 billion at the global box office.  Judging by the box office numbers generated by Top Gun: Maverick, moviegoers are definitely back with a vengeance.
