Why They Go Deep

Yes they lost to Iowa State, but are 6-4 Against The Spread in their last ten games overall.

Why Be Concerned

This is not the same team that put together this stellar résumé. Kansas lost Udoka Azubuike and Lagerald Vick, and after a 15-2 start, the Jayhawks finished 8-6 down the stretch.  Kansas State is ranked better by most experts.   They are two wins below the .500 mark ATS on the season.  Auburn does look like the better team if that's who they face on the weekend.

Who They Will Play

Northeastern looked early like the team they would face and that came to fruition.  The Huskies finished 2nd in the Colonial Conference.  They have won nine of their last ten but will face stiffer competition moving forward.  More importantly, they have covered the spread in their last seven.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
