Texas Tech should be a -4 point favorite versus Alabama in the second round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

The Crimson Tide entered the tournament with a 19-13 record Straight Up and a loss to Vanderbilt, which was just 17-15 for the season.  Vandy actually rallied from a 15-point deficit in the second half.

In non-conference teams this season, Alabama went 10-3 Straight Up.  As an away underdog they went 1-3.  They are 11-33 (25.0%) as an away dog since 2016.

The Red Raiders went 12-6 in a tough basketball conference and ranked 14th in the nation.

In non-conference games since 2016, Texas Tech is 73-13 (84.9%) Straight Up.

They finished the season with a tough loss against Kansas, 74-65.

Shannon finished with 14 points, and Bryson Williams had 17 for the Red Raiders (25-9), who still have never won the Big 12 Tournament. They also lost to Oklahoma State in their only other championship appearance in 2005.

Take Texas Tech on the moneyline.
