This is MLB’s Most Disliked Team, According to Twitter Study
Which ball club is the most hated in Major League Baseball these days?
That hotly-debated topic has been answered by a semi-scientific Twitter study that analyzed more than 50,000 hate-related tweets since Opening Day.
BetOnline.ag conducted the research, and the results aren’t terribly surprising. The Yankees, Dodgers and Astros, in that order, lead the pack.
The gaming site tracked negative sentiment tweets individually for each MLB team, containing phrases such as, "I hate the Yankees," "(expletive) the Dodgers," "screw the Astros," etc.
The Yanks won the hate contest with nearly 7,000 negative tweets since the 2022 season started.
The Dodgers were a close second with 5,618 negative tweets while Houston had nearly 5,000 tweets against them.
The least hated team…the Arizona Diamondbacks, of course.
